The Abington Police Athletic League (PAL) is enthusiastically preparing for the fifth annual International Food Festival to be held Tuesday, October 14 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at our new venue, the beautiful and spacious Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley. Our new location will enable us to accommodate even more guests and restaurants than last year’s capacity crowd of 600 people and 30 restaurants. We also look forward to fabulous live and silent auction opportunities. This is Abington PAL’s major annual fundraiser, which is key to providing the needed funds to develop and maintain programs since no tax dollars are used for PAL. This past year, we ran our first, highly successful Bowling Program involving 5th-12th graders who learned the skills to enjoy this game. We also ran our first Outward Bound program and have now begun our summer Golf Camp. We took our kids to the Eagles Training Camp this summer and hope to repeat that exciting trip this year. We ask for your support in helping us bring new programs and maintain the many activities you provide for our PAL kids by placing an ad for your business in the 2008 Abington PAL program book.
