The Abington Police Athletic/Activities League is interested in
providing scholarship assistance to any registered PAL member in
good standing who is currently in their senior year in high school
and plans to further their education. The applicant must have been
a member of PAL for at least one (1) year and attended PAL activities
at least two (2) times per month. Proof of acceptance to a college
or technical school is required to receive the award.
A single, one time scholarship for $250 will be awarded to a PAL
member from each of the two sites. Applications must be submitted
to each site director. The site director will meet with their volunteers
and discuss the applications. The Activities Committee will review
applications submitted by the Site Directors and select one from
each site for the scholarship award. All applications must be received
by the respective Site Director no later than May1st. Awardees will
be notified by mail and/or the Site Director
